I help people and systems work better together.

I stabilize complex multi-site operations, lead difficult implementations, and build teams that can sustain the work.

Where I become useful

I tend to enter when the plan on paper and the reality on the floor have stopped agreeing. I find where information, responsibility, and trust are breaking down, then help teams rebuild the workflow into something they can actually follow when the pressure rises.

Most useful when: a new account needs stabilizing, a rollout has stalled at adoption, or growth has outpaced the operating structure.

A story instead of a slogan

Deer Isle, Maine · 2020 to 2021

I entered long-term care just as COVID arrived. When the outbreak reached our nursing home, staff got sick, equipment failed, call bells multiplied, and every decision carried consequences no operating manual had prepared us for.

I worked eighteen-hour shifts, crossed departmental lines, did infection-control barrier work along with resident and post-mortem care, and watched good people try to deliver humane care inside a system collapsing around them. When the facility finally closed, I helped safely relocate roughly seventy residents.

That year changed how I understand leadership. A system is not successful because it works in ideal conditions. It is successful because people can still understand and use it when conditions stop being ideal.

The pattern across my career

My work has moved through several industries, but the job has stayed surprisingly consistent.

Healthcare

I led district operations across eight skilled-nursing and rehabilitation facilities: grew the district from five sites to eight, sustained better than 90% deficiency-free outcomes across roughly 32 surveys, and reversed a roughly $45K/month operating deficit across an eleven-facility region in under six weeks.

Implementation and systems

I rolled out MealTracker across all eight facilities with day-one go-lives and most teams competent within the first week. I rebuild workflows, write operating procedures, and translate executive expectations into practical steps that make sense on the floor, treating errors as signals for where to improve rather than who to blame.

Hospitality and entrepreneurship

I built and ran restaurants, including a Lower East Side empanada shop and a Buenos Aires restaurant-bar operated entirely in Spanish. Owning ventures taught me to see the whole machine at once, and that a technically correct plan is worthless when the people expected to execute it do not trust or understand it.

The principle

Understand the problem. Earn trust quickly. Build systems people will use. Leave the operation stronger than you found it.
